home to the 9th annual Colorado Cutthroat Console Tournament,
the state championship for Colorado Cutthroat. CutthroatCon
is committed to showcasing game developers, talented artist
and talented tournament players in Colorado as well as provide
the following for game enthusiasts in Colorado and beyond:
Colorado Cutthroat and the NVGA is hosting a one day gaming convention that will provide a wonderful gaming experience for everyone.

Game Developers Submission and Artist Alley
If you are an up and coming gaming studio looking for a great way to show off your current build of your game with the chance to get great beta testing from you community or you are developer wanting to show off a new phone app or an artist looking to show off and sell your work then we have a place for you.
CutthroatCon, just like SuperCon 2010 last year, is providing a FREE artist alley for all artists wanting to show off their talents. For the first time this year if a you are game developer needing a 10 X 10 spot to show off your work we are offering this space for $300 per booth. Featured Artist

Zach Howard has worked on Aliens and Aliens vs Predator projects for Dark Horse Comics. Specifically, Howard was chosen as the artist on the new 2009 Aliens comics miniseries which relaunched the Aliens franchise. Howard will be involved in judging the Westwood Final Exposure 4.0 student art, video game cosplay contest and will be available for autographs through the entire convention.

Colorado Cutthroat and Westwood College will be showcasing the best 3D Animation and 2D Digital art from students currently attending Westwood North and South Campus. All submissions will be reviewed by selected from both the gaming and art industry. Those who submit and get selected will be competing for the following prizes:

CutthroatCon Video Game Cosplay Contest
Come one, come all, for the costume masquerade and contest! See fellow fans dressed up as your favorite video game and anime characters. Whether you simply love video games so much that you take any excuse to show that love or you want to practice with your costume before NDK, we'll be glad to see you on stage. Walk-ons or skits, we accept them all. if you don't have a costume, come and watch and vote for your favorites.
We will have photo opportunities, so bring your cameras too!
Entries can use up to two minutes (or less, if desired), and can
sign up all day Saturday until 2 PM. Forms will be near Registration,
online or find the cosplay coordinator. We will play background
music, but if you have specific music you would like to use, please
bring a CD to be submitted at time of registration.
Below are some general guidelines for this special event:
-Entrants must have purchased a con badge
-All entries must be no higher than PG-13.
-No live steel, firearms, incendiary devices, messy substances,
or acrobatics
-Do not throw any item.
-Do not run or jump off stage. Period. Remember, you are
only dressed as the character. You can't really do the things they
can.
Costume Contest will begin at 3 PM on Saturday, so be there!

By popular demand table top gaming will be making a special appreance at CutthroatCon this year. Come play some of the most popular table top games out such as Magic and more.
